Over the past 3 years, I have worked on variuos projects that have decisively contributed to my professional evolution. I have closely collaborated with remarkable teams whose dedication and support have made the difference to the successful development of projects. With each project, I have learned not only technical aspects but also essential communication and collaboration skills, reflected in my experience with client interactions and how an efficient team operates. This is the company culture, from the sometimes fast-paced workday and Agile practices to the relaxing moments of socializing with colleagues during coffee breaks and recreational activities like darts and ping pong.
I got to know the NetRom team through the Internship and NetRom Software Academy programs, where I discovered that the concepts learned at home still have applicability, even in real applications. Those experiences convinced me to apply for a job.
Open mentors and experienced colleagues who promptly answered all my questions turned challenges into tasks successfully solved together. Being part of #teamnetrom I overcame my fear of making mistakes and I evolved in my own pace.
I learned about the NetRom programs from a presentation organized at the university by the company. I decided to enroll in the Summer Camp because I wanted to understand what a career in IT would entail. Following this internship, I managed to develop my own application with the help of mentors who provided me with theoretical but especially practical information that I couldn’t find in any random internet tutorial. My approach to applications changed once I understood the process, what a real work environment entails, and the importance of teamwork.
NetRom is more than just a job; it’s a place of opportunities for professional and personal development.
I joined in my second year of college, at the age of 21, not knowing much about software. I heard about NetRom, went for an interview, and the adventure began. I started as a Test Engineer while continuing my studies, and later transitioned into programming. Years passed, and I matured both professionally and personally. Now, as an Operational Manager, I’m in a position to help others grow. If you’re looking for not just a job but a career in IT, come to NetRom.
Before coming to NetRom, I read a lot of theoretical concepts about Quality Assurance, but I had zero experience in the field. There were many aspects that seemed very logical to me, but I couldn’t relate them to anything practical, I didn’t see them applied. Here I met people who, however pompous it may sound, helped me develop regardless of my lack of experience, people who showed me what it means to work in a team, towards a common goal. They gave me the courage to speak my mind and gave me the boldness to pass on the knowledge I had acquired.
NetRom Software Testing Academy was the starting point for my career. Throughout the sessions, I had the opportunity to learn the fundamentals for ensuring the quality of a product, followed by a day at the company where I saw the theory put into practice. I recommend to anyone who wishes to pursue a career in QA to consider this academy, as it is intended for those in the field, but not only.
At NetRom, I had the extraordinary opportunity to begin my professional and personal development at the age of 17 when I became the youngest employee of the company. The courses and training sessions I received here managed to reveal a new dimension of software from which I gained both new skills and an efficient way of teamwork.
At NetRom, every project team is a family that seeks the evolution of each individual in a comfortable and friendly environment.
I believe my first interaction with NetRom was within the LigaAC LABS program in 2022. Even though I had already participated in several editions of the program at other companies and was already working in the field, I was completely fascinated by the trainers’ passion for technologies and their dedication, so much so that I told myself I absolutely had to be part of the NetRom team. During my time at the company, I met extraordinary people from whom I learned a lot, both technically and in terms of soft skills, and I experienced a dynamic environment that always challenges you to become better at what you do.
I discovered NetRom through an internship program and was impressed from the beginning by the pleasant work environment, the support, and commitment of my colleagues. It was a great opportunity to work in a project team, with specific roles, and to better understand the company culture. The entire period proved to be a valuable experience, both in terms of knowledge gained and in terms of the relationships developed. When I was offered to continue as a permanent employee, it was an easy decision to make, as I was happy to apply what I had learned and to gain new knowledge every single day.
